3. Purposes for Which the Personal Data Is Processed and the Legal Basis for the Processing:

3.1. Data processing for the performance of the contract concluded between you and us (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)

In order to fulfil the existing contractual relationship, provide the services owed and send you contract documents, we, as well as third parties or processors engaged by us, process the following data about you, provided that you have communicated this data to us when concluding the contract or during the course of the contractual relationship:
– Bank details (IBAN, bank, account holder) and payment information
– Personal details (name, date of birth, address, telephone, fax number, email address and, where applicable, homepage)

3.2. Use of data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)

In the case of promotional contact, subject to postal mailings, we will only contact you through the communication channels for which you have given your consent. For this purpose we use your data for the following purposes:

Quality assurance: In order to continuously improve our services, our products and our offerings for you, we conduct surveys regarding your satisfaction and your experiences from your contractual relationship

– General and personalized advertising.
– To the extent that you have granted us a corresponding SEPA direct debit mandate, we also use your bank account details. Under the SEPA direct debit mandate, we collect outstanding amounts in accordance with the contractually agreed arrangements.

MuM does not carry out any profiling measures.

7.1. Categories of recipients of data

To the extent permitted by law, we disclose personal data to external service providers:

– Credit agencies and scoring providers for credit information, in order to assess credit risk.
– Credit institutions and payment service providers for billing and processing of payments.
– IT service providers to maintain our IT infrastructure.
– Debt collection service providers and lawyers, in order to collect claims and enforce claims in court. If personal data (customer and contact data, payment data, consumption site data and data relating to the claim) is transferred to a debt collection service provider in the event of debt collection, we will inform you in advance of the intended transfer.

We process personal data that we have received from you in the course of our business relationships. To the extent necessary for the provision of our services, we process personal data that we lawfully obtain from publicly accessible sources (debtor registers, land registers, commercial and association registers, press, internet) or that is lawfully transmitted to us by other third parties (a credit agency or an address service provider).

8. Storage Period and Criteria for Determining the Period

We store your data for the duration of the existing contract as well as, after termination of the contract with you, for a period until the completion of the tax audit of the last calendar year in which you were our customer. Where statutory retention periods apply, we are obliged to store the data until the expiry of these periods. After expiry of the statutory retention obligations, which arise primarily from commercial and tax law (in particular Sections 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO) and 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB)), we delete this data again.

For promotional communications, we store your data until you object to its use, withdraw your consent, or such communication is no longer legally permissible. We store your remaining data for as long as we need it to fulfil the specific purpose (e.g. for the performance or execution of the contract) and delete it once the purpose no longer applies.

9. Processing of Personal Data on Our Websites

Whenever content is requested from this website, your relevant access data is stored. Relevant access data includes data about the page from which the file was requested, the name of the requested file, the date, the time and the duration of the request, the amount of data transferred, and the access status (e.g. file transferred, file not found).
