The xStream platform provides CAD workstations and data environments on a high-performance cloud infrastructure. With xStream, you run your CAD workstations and data environments flexibly and independently of location on a globally available cloud infrastructure.
With xStream, CAD and engineering applications are no longer run locally on individual workstations, but executed centrally in the cloud. The work environment is streamed to users’ end devices.
Technological foundations:
To reliably provide CAD and engineering workstations from the cloud, the xStream platform combines several technological components. We are an AWS partner, our xStream Elevate environment is AWS certified, and alternatively we offer on-premises environments for purchase.
The platform is based on high-performance cloud infrastructure with GPU-optimized instances for demanding CAD, BIM, and engineering applications.
Applications and work environments run centrally in the cloud (AWS or on-premises) and are streamed in full to users’ end devices.
Project and design data are stored centrally and are consistently available to teams regardless of location.
Secure connections enable access to workstations and data – regardless of the location from which you work.
Security is a core component of the xStream platform. Applications, data, and access are operated in a controlled cloud environment and protected by modern security mechanisms.
